AJ's Favorites

AJ's favorite way to sleep.  We call this the floppy chicken.

 AJ's favorite food.  Anything that is not peas.

AJ's favorite place to hang out.

 AJ's favorite thing to chew on.  That would be his sock.

any and all shoes,

and his very own (non working) Laptop!  He loves to sit and bang on that keyboard.  We're not sure if he's writing a novel, or coding programs.  Either way we're pretty sure he's a genius.

AJ's First Baseball Game!

We went with MawMaw and PawPaw to the BYU baseball game!  Unfortunately it was cold and the boy was tired.

He finally fell asleep only to be woken up by the crowd and music.

 We kept him busy for a few minutes with MawMaw's phone . . . 

and PawPaw's face!  This is my favorite picture of them.  I am so grateful to have such wonderful family members that live so close.  They are always willing to give my son great experiences.

Please DON'T pass the peas!

So AJ is six months old and the doctor finally gave us the okay to start introducing baby food.  We already started some over a month ago.  We know he likes apples, bananas, carrots, sweets potatoes, squash and prunes.  Today we tried peas.

He wasn't so sure about that.

He continued to make this face for several spoonfuls.

I decided to try heating them up to see if that made things better.  It didn't.

Never at any point did he spit any out, turn his head away from the spoon, close his mouth, or refuse food in anyway.  He did however start to cry.

But only in between bites that HE CONTINUED TO EAT!  Continuing to eat and crying the entire time.

Today I learned that my son doesn't like peas, and he WON'T under any circumstances refuse food.
